A true veteran of Rock music.
Terry's first major influence was the rock and roll of the late 50's. After hearing the Beatles for the first time Terry knew what he wanted to do.
With the coming of the British invasion, and then the emergence of groups such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Cream and many others, Terry began to embrace the harder side of rock.
All of the great music of the 1960's through the 1980's contribute to the diversity in song writing we see on Terry Sigler's first CD, "Out of the Shadows"
Us veterans of the rock wars, those of us who wander through cyberspace nowadays among the digitalized youth, are willing to take our chances. Guys like Terry Sigler, who has been playing since, get this kids, the only way to record was reel-to-reel analog, bring to this new theater a gritty and solid and honest sound. Sigler is a seasoned rocker and a real musician.
He has never stopped playing and you can hear the years of experience in the strings he plucks. There is an ease that can only come from a veteran. His songs use riff-rock and simple verse/chorus structures along with light lyrical content and he supports that, heightens it, with licks that are aged like wine
